First step: Hyères

Arriving from Marseille, Toulon or Nice airports (Toulon is closest but much smaller than Marseille, it will be harder to get a flight there), you will need to take the train to Hyères or come by car.

Next step: La tour fondue

This is the name of the harbour for the boat to the island. From Hyères train station, bus number 67 will take you to La Tour Fondue (30 minutes trip, see the bus 67 schedule).

If you drive a car, you can park it (for a fee) at any of the parking lots a few tens of meters from the harbour itself. One alternative is to park (for free) at the Parc des Aromanches and then take the bus number 67 (10 minutes ride):

Almost there: To Porquerolles island

We advise against swimming directly to the island and recommend all participants take the boat shuttle instead. The boat departs every half hour, check it at the shuttle to Porquerolles time table (printable version) The round-trip ticket (to be bought on-site) is 24 euros for adults.

No vehicules are allowed on the island so it will be a final 5 minutes walk to our accomodation at the IGESA center:
